    Denver Christkindl Market

    When:

    Friday, November 20th and goes through Wednesday, December 23rd, 2015

    • On Thanksgiving Day, November 26th, 11am until 4pm

    Where: The event is located in downtown Denver at Skyline Park, at 16th Street Mall and Arapahoe,  across from the Daniels & Fisher Clock Tower.

    A Christmas Carol

    Where: Denver Center for the Performing Arts 1350 Curtis Street, Denver, CO 80202

    About: Based on Dickens’ classic novel, A Christmas Carol is essential to the holiday season in Denver.

    Blossoms of Lights

    When:

    Open nightly, Nov. 27, 2015 through Jan. 2, 2016

    Including Christmas eve, Dec. 25, New Year’s eve and New Year’s day

    5:30-9 p.m. (lights on until 9:30 p.m.)

    Where: Denver Botanic Gardens, 1007 York Street, Denver, CO 80206

    About: Blossoms of Light is the perfect way to kick off the holiday season. Denver Botanic Gardens hosts the annual family-friendly event that has become a tradition for people across Colorado.

     

    Downtown Denver Grand Illumination

    When: Nov 27 at 6 p.m., Lights on display nightly

    Where:  Downtown Denver

    About: As part of Downtown Denver’s Winter in the City program, at 6 p.m. on Nov 27, 2015 Downtown Denver’s Grand Illumination event will light up Downtown, from Denver Union Station to the City and County Building. Following a countdown shortly after 6:30 p.m., Denver Union Station will be ablaze with brightly colored floodlights illuminating the historic structure in the heart of Lower Downtown and its lighted tree in front. Light Exhibition runs through the end of December.

    The Nutcracker

    When: November 28- December 27, 2015

    Where: Ellie Caulkins Opera House, 2344 E Iliff Ave, Denver, CO 80210

    About: This is Colorado Ballet’s 55th annual production of The Nutcracker. Your entire family will enjoy Colorado’s holiday tradition.

     

    9 News Parade of Lights

    When: Friday, December 4th at 6pm and Saturday, December 5th at 8pm

    Where: Downtown Denver

    About: The two-mile parade route weaves through Downtown Denver. The event is free along the route, but you can watch the parade from Grandstand Seating in front of the lit City and County Building.
